His education is focused on investment finance, corporate finance, financial markets, and capital management. Tyler is originally from Nyack Village, NY, where he lived until 2001 when he moved to Baltimore, MD, where he has been for the rest of his life. He chose to attend Morgan State University to pursue a career in coporate law until he was excited by the financial sector through a trip to Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA his freshman year as a part of the Graves Honors program at Morgan. Since then, Tyler has been dedicated to pursuing a financial career in the Graves School of Business and Management (GSBM) and it was in the GSBM that Tyler was exposed to the University Innovation Fellows.
From a young age, Tyler was interested in business but he was also involved in music heavily. He learned to play several instruments during his time as a band student in middle and highschool, playing saxophone, baritone, and sousaphone. Currently, on campus Tyler is interested in sharing opportunities with his fellow students on campus, for example, the investment clubs stock market challenge, the various visitors to the MSU school of business, and more across all disciplines.
