<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">[[File:Atle Alexander.jpg|thumb|Atle Alexander.jpg]]<span style="font-size:medium;">Atle Alexander Berglie Johansen is a Norwegian University Innovation Fellow and an international undergraduate student studying Accounting at who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University&nbsp;of North Dakota (UND)in May 2018. He is originally from Drammen in Norway and attended his first year in college at the American College of Norway, a small school in Moss that provides Norwegian students an introduction to</span></span><span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: small;">&nbsp;the American educational system before traveling the</span><span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: small;">re. He came to Grand Forks, North Dakota in 2015 to continue his Bachelor of Business Administration.</span>
<span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">Atle co-founded several student initiatives in college, including Volunteers Together, a 300+ organization that helps UND students find volunteering opportunities in Grand Forks.</span></span>
<span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">After college, he went to work for EY in Minneapolis and earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licence.</span></span>
<span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: smallmedium;">Atle Alexander's extracurricular involvement at the University of North Dakota began when he picked up the courage to schedule a meeting with the CEO of the Center for Innovation, Sir Bruce Gjovig, only a week after he arrived in Grand Forks for the first time. With Bruce's advice and mentorship, he has become a part of Delta Tau Delta fraternity on campus where he served one semester as their Public Relations chair. Additionally, he revitalized the&nbsp;</span>''Association of Norwegian Students Abroad's''<span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: small;">&nbsp;(ANSA)&nbsp;North Dakota chapter as its leader to host monthly events for Norwegian students, grow in membershipHowever, and strengthen the relationship between the organization and the International Office. He also serves as the U.S. Representative for ANSA Economy, is being an active member of the Honors Programentrepreneur at heart, he decided to resign from corporate America and represents UND as co-found a Student Ambassadorcompany with his wife, Ayla Xiao. However, his most significant project is&nbsp;</span></span>

<span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">They provide free, in-depth and beautifully designed guides and resources to help people get organized, establish a healthier relationship with their technology, grow as individuals.</span></span>
 
<font face="tahoma, geneva, sans-serif" size="3">Despite graduating college, Atle has been an involved member of UIF. He's assisted with two meet-ups as a FAB, spoken at Google about the importance of empathy in finding a common vision, and delivered a talk on how to become a change agent in the workforce at Stanford University.</font>
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;">However, with Atle Alexander's love for innovation and entrepreneurship, his most significant project is to create and develop Dedicated Individuals Bettering Society (DIBS). Through the organization, he is raising the expectations of students and making them realize that their voices can be heard, that their opinions are of high value, and that they have the power to make change.</span></span>
