During fiscal year 2011 alone, Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute (EI<sup>2</sup>):
*Number of clients served by EI^2 programs:10,752*Number of jobs created by or saved by EI^2-assisted clients: 15,724*GaMEP-assisted manufacturing clients created or retained 2,047 jobs*Evaluated 219 Georgia Tech 235 GT faculty member research innovations and helped form 17 new *Served 505 technology startup companies based on this intellectual property, which attracted nearly *Assisted 96 minority entrpreneurs resulting in $100 93 million in investment;new contracts, sales, and financing*Helped manufacturing companies reduce Georgia Manufacturers slash operating costs by $35 40 million, *Helped Georgia Manufacturers increase sales by $191 219 million*Served 1, and create or save 950 jobs through the 440 Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership program, a program funded by the National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the state of Georgia, and industry clients;*Assisted 493 start-up technology manufacturing companies through the Advanced Technology Development Center. These companies attracted nearly $100 million in venture capital investment and mergers/acquisitions; and *Helped Georgia companies win $492 million in government contractscreate or save 1, creating an estimated 9,843 910 manufacturing jobs through the Georgia Tech Procurement Assistance Center.&nbsp;
