Growing up, I spent time with my dad doing simple engineering projects such as circuits and working on cars. This started to tweak my interest in engineering so I decided to pursue an Engineering degree at James Madison University. Since then, I have engaged myself in Engineering Ambassadors where I represented JMU Engineering to prospective students, gave tours of the department, and held workshops for younger students to learn about engineering. I was also a part of the Engineering Leadership program where I gained skills in public speaking, mentorship, emotional intelligence and more. This experience was pivotal to the way my mindset has been shaped and increased my desire to make innovative changes to campus.</span></span>
