The Laboratory was contracted by the Department of Energy to research and develop algae conversion.

Startup Village is a student led initiative to create a residential community of innovators and entrepreneurs who will lead the I&E movement on the ASU Polytechnic campus, and create companies and movements within a immersive and collaborative environment. Startup Village is made up of 16 houses that house 30 student entrepreneurs and innovators as well as a community house for the purpose of housing prototyping equipment and collaborative spaces.&nbsp;
