#Introducing a new free elective course called Leadership with emotional intelligence.
For the first option, the approval of the professors teaching this course is the first thing that should be done. These people include Dr. Robert and Dr. Gina. It is also important to look into how maybe the course can become a 4 credit hour course instead of a three credit hour course.
SecondlyFor the second option, introducing a new course requires searching for people who can teach similar to this has been recently introducted to students under the supervision of Dr. Glinda El Gamal. As explained in the invitation email, it is a six week course and at the end the students would receive a certificate of acheivement. Haing already though about a similar idea we added this in the landscape canvas and decided that it could be the starting point to our project. The main challnege would be to first to encourage students to participate in it , work with Dr. Glinda to make the course more interactive and most importantly remove the restrictions available. Such course whether they were from campus or from outsideshould not have limitations such as a minimum gpa of 3.0 and the number of seats availble should be more than just twenty and the priority shoul not be given just to senior students but to all students equally.
In both cases, it will be required to collaborate with student council, for better communication with the administration.
