To make the lesson more effective, stagger instruction days so that the I&E students who produced the lesson plan can actually teach the class to the freshmen, showing student leadership in I&E and that a community for it exists on campus.</span>

Implementing an I&E event they attend during orientation would provide them the opportunity to know about what resources are available and spark their interest before weight of classes and other responsibilities set in during the quarter.</span>
