By creating a time and space where students and local town folks can come together to share their unique talents and the things that they are passionate about, not only do students immediately benefit from learning practical skills from each other, but also fosters a community that inspires innovation and entrepreneurship through recognizing that they can exist both within and outside of a standard classroom setting.
