Back in the 1980’s an opinion column was written were it was said that us students of los Andes are “de frente a Monserrate y de espaldas al país”, which basically says in a pejorative manner that we are not sufficiently conscious of the real issues local communities face. “Uniandinos de frente al país” intends to tackle this stereotype by proposing an institutional day of service, where students are encouraged to participate in one of the 100+ volunteering projects offered by the Mayor's office.</span></span></span></p>
