AdditionallyIn recent years, Susquehanna has recently started a partnership partnered with Columbia University for to create a combined dual degree program in liberal arts Liberal Arts and Science education Education and Engineering. The university has recently University established an Entrepreneurship & and Innovation minor to replace the business administration entrepreneurship Business Administration Entrepreneurship emphasis, . Faculty and faculty currently staff members teaching entrepreneurship classes courses are striving encouraging students to enroll participate in the program regardless of academic discipline. Hopeful students from all different disciplines. Students hoping who wish to create their own organizations or campus publications will quickly learn about the faculty and staff’s willingness to give advice and guidance from the faculty and staff to help students turn their ideas into realitiesreality. The university ran University hosted a Pitch Contest in the spring Spring of 2014 and saw allowed students from various backgrounds and departments bring forth disciplines to share their ideas for innovation and creativity. The Pitch Contest has not been held since, but we hope the University Innovation Fellows team wishes to collaborate with the business schoolBusiness School, Susquehanna alumni relations , and the career development center to reinstate the Pitch Contest by spring of 2018in future years.</span></span></big>

The event helped to inspire ideas, as well as and provide space for valuable feedback on how students may can improve their ideas and/or pitches for pitching skills in the future. Students were given two minutes to describe their ideas and convince the judges of their merit, learning how to best effectively communicate in order to sell their products/and ideas.&nbsp;</span></span></big>

It also hosts lunches and workshops where faculty members can learn about teaching strategies and share innovative ideas, facilitates a "talk-while-you-walk" initiative for faculty to walk while they talk about teaching, and partners faculty members with two or three peers to discuss teaching strategies more intimately.</big></span></span>
