Being next to Columbus, one of the fastest growing startup cities in the country, students are becoming more aware of the entrepreneurial community around them thus leading them to take more interest in entrepreneurship. This progress in student endeavours related to innovation is complemented by institutional and organizational transitions on campus. The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship(CIE) is supporting more programming directed towards students who are interested in entrepreneurship and establishing connections between students and mentors, providing the resources they need to pursue their ventures.</span></span></span></span>

Student organizations on campus are also focusing on entrepreneurship in order to foster more student innovation.</span></span></span></span>

Over all there has been a rise in student entrepreneurship at Ohio State and this will continue to be the case as students become continuously successful in their ventures and attract attention from venture capital firms from around Columbus and beyond.</span></span></span></span>
