Prior to that, Humera worked for UMass Amherst and the Western Mass Economic Development Council, where she was responsible for creating communities of leaders within business and academia to advance technology-based economic development in the page region known as Western Mass. Humera began her career in industry working her way up from the mail room to the first errorproduct management at a materials manufacturing company. She holds two dozen other work experiences from her early-career that would make this bio too long, but have enriched her view of life.
