He is majoring in electrical engineering with a minor in environmental studies and sustainability. Nathan is originally from Grand Rapids, MI, but moved to Kalamazoo, MI, in 2015 to attend college. He currently works as a tutor in the Kalamazoo high schools and at an architectural engineering firm as an intern. <span style="font-size:small;">Nathan is an active member of the sunseeker team at WMU which is a team of students that come together to build a solar powered race carhas always been very passionate about leadership and communication. Through this club he has learned how He strives to solder and incase solar panels, work merge these passions with PCB boards, and work within a team. Nathan is also on his interest in helping others to better the executive board lives of people around the Innovation club at WMU which he helped to startworld through technology. The innovation club strives Nathan, while in school, strived to get students excited about learning and giving hands on experience. Nathan is also apart of do this through the math club and financial board at his church. He volunteers with Disabeled Students Services Innovation Club on his campus, driving physically disabled students from class to class. He also volunteers with Drive Safe Kalamazooholding speakers, giving safe rides home to students on the weekends. Nathan is also a memeber of the Lee Honors College and WMU. Outside of school he enjoys creating lasting relationshipsseminars, being with friendsworkshops, and experimenting with pop-up classes. He now is bringing these passions into his arduinowork space in anyway he can. Nathan UIF has two younger sisters been a key part in high school, four dogs, and two cats, which were all left at furthering his parents house (thank goodness)goals.</span>
