Grant Versfeld is a freshman at Loyola University Innovation Fellow studying Maryland where he studies Computer Science and Philosophy with Pre-Law at Loyola University Maryland. Grant He is fascinated by the ethical implications of digital way technology impacts our lives and plans to become a technologist specializing in Internet working at the intersection of business and policy. He hopes to one day help solve the dilemmas, such as Grant’s main interests include privacy, Artifical Artificial Intelligence safety, and ethical advertisingInternet governance. His interest in these issues was sparked during a yearlong, independent research project last year, introduced by our increasingly connected societyin which he explored how the practices of social media and other popular websites often infringe on students’ expectations of privacy and security<br/><br/>Although he primarily studies Computer Science, Grant is an avid reader and loves his humanities courses. He enjoys combining his love for technology with his love passion for english and history, and often looks is looking to join engage in projects that allow him to explore the people side of computing. At Loyola, Grant is a member of the Honors program, the Cybersecurity club, and is currently working to found a trivia founding member of the clubracquetball team.
