“CREATING&nbsp; A&nbsp; JOB&nbsp; IS&nbsp; BETTER&nbsp; THAN&nbsp; FINDING&nbsp; ONE”
 
Encouraging&nbsp; entrepreneurship &nbsp;on the campus is a challenging and significant task . The following reasons are broadly the hindrances due to which students&nbsp; are not involved in entrepreneurship&nbsp;:
 
1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conventional mindset of the students&nbsp; - to get a secured job right after graduation;
 
2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Lack of awareness &nbsp;and interest in the process and concept of entrepreneurship;
 
3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Not coming out of the comfort zones of a lucrative job and no risk –taking capability for becoming an entrepreneur, etc.
 
The following tactics are the ways through entrepreneurship has to &nbsp;be encouraged among the students in the campus&nbsp;:
 
Tactic &nbsp;#1&nbsp;: &nbsp;Encouraging Start – Ups&nbsp; and&nbsp; extensively promoting&nbsp; new concepts&nbsp; like – “ONE BATCH – OND START-UP”
 
Tactic&nbsp; #2&nbsp;: &nbsp;Working on unfinished projects/ potential &nbsp;ideas or concepts left out by the passed out final year students
 
Tactic&nbsp; #3&nbsp;:&nbsp; Encouraging Inter – Disciplinary project groups.
 
Tactic&nbsp; #4&nbsp;&nbsp;:&nbsp; Industrial Visits should be organized twice a month.
 
&nbsp;Tactic&nbsp; #5&nbsp;: &nbsp;Organizing workshops on Marketing skills
 
Tactic &nbsp;#6&nbsp;&nbsp;:&nbsp; Implementing ‘Design Thinking as a Core- Subject’
 
Tactic&nbsp; #7&nbsp;:&nbsp; Creating awareness and spreading the information about various available modes of funding for the Start – Ups like – government schemes&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;like StandUp India, StartUp India, New Age Incubation Network (NAIN), etc.
