ACM’s Professional and Student chapters worldwide serve as hubs of activity for ACM members and the computing community at large. They provide seminars, lectures, learning forums and networking opportunities with peers and experts across the computing spectrum.

The Association for Computing Machinery ('''ACM''') is an international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947, and is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. The '''ACM''' is a non-profit professional membership group, claiming nearly 100,000 student and professional members as of 2019.

EMERGENCE OF ACM CHAPTER

The acm student chapter was established on 15th July,2018 in our institution. When our institution started to know that students need to be pushed towards innovation more, the acm chapter was established with a vision and a mission.

VISION

To provide unique opportunities for networking, mentoring and bonding over common interests. They provide support both within the student community and to local communities outside the institution.

MISSION

To educate the students regarding the flourishing technologies so that they can sharpen their innovative skills towards them and build a successful career.

EVENTS

The acm chapter in our college is very active and it organizes innovative events every week. Events like web designing, treasure hunt by using programming are conducted.

Other than this, CC also takes up monthly updates to be forwarded to previous guests about the present works and development in E-Cell for their comments and feedback. Thus, gaining, Mentorship.
