Mauricio is currently a senior at Binghamton University pursuing a degree in Political Science. He is a member of the Tau Sigma Honor Society.[[File:Mauricio profilee.jpg|thumb|Mauricio profilee.jpg]]

He is currently the Student Intern for the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Partnerships and is one of the members of the Entrepreneurship Learning Community. As a student intern, he has helped the office with hackathons, organizing idea pitches, and connecting other entrepreneurs on campus with them. Mauricio is an alumnus of the very first venture accelerator classes Binghamton had offered. As a member of the Entrepreneurship Learning Community, he is helping to shape the entrepreneurial ecosystem of his university.
