Ashley Switalski, unconventional chemical engineering student is a University Innovation Fellows candidate from a small university Kettering University in Flint, MI. She is currently studying for her B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a Course of Study in Innovation to Entrepreneurship. Ashley has worked for a variety of companies with focuses in biologic applications for plastic materials to superbacteria fermentationbiofermentation in agricultural products. Definitely not afraid of being different At Kettering University, Ashley is involved with Kettering Entrepreneur Society (KES), Kettering Student Government (KSG), and is comfortable being uncomfortableStudent Alumni Council (SAC). Additionally, she works for the University Advancement Department to promote community service involvement by Federal Work Study (FWS) eligible students.
