Smith College is private womens' liberal arts college in Northhampton, Massachusetts. Founded in 1871, the school is well established in the arts and the humanities as well as the sciences, and has over 50 areas of study. The school also supports numerous extra-curricular and co-curricular opportunities as well as a number of services to aid students in achieving their diverse goals.

Smith has a number of courses and workshops, both interdepartmental and department-specific, that introduce the concepts of design thinking and entrepreneurship, allow students to use and experiment with these tools in hands-on settings, and build their creative confidence. &nbsp;These curricular resources are supplemented by other extra-curricular opportunities such as various conferences, competitions, and student organizations that allow students to gain further exposure and enrich their innovative experiences. The recently established Conway Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship works hard to inspire and encourage students to engage in innovative ventures.</span></span>
