Brian Rhindress is a sophomore Bioengineering and Electrical Engineering major at the ()University of Pittsburgh. In pursuing this dual degree, it is his deepest hope to broaden his undergraduate engineering education and merge multiple problem-solving philosophies. He is also a self-proclaimed whistling savant, occasional open-mic poetry performer and snaps his fingers explosively when excited.
Brian has participated in materials science research involving nanowire growth methods and actively volunteers in the Pittsburgh community. After tutoring for one semester in a homeless shelter and putting on science presentations for underprivileged youth through the club SEMFS (Scientists Engineers Mathematicians for Service), he is ready to impact the community with a more specialized approach.
