The '''University Research Corridor''' (URC) is a consortium among U-M, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University. This effort was undertaken to highlight the capabilities and impact of the state's three leading research institutions and drive the transformation of Michigan's economy. Among its activities, the URC produces an annual economic impact report that includes an assessment of the impact of the three universities on a different industry sector each year.
