Vera is a sophomore Bioengineering major with Chemistry and Nanoscience minors. She is passionate about bringing interdisciplinary approach to every day problem-solving, and she strives each day to further push the borders between the disciplines and connect the dots where no connections are readily apparent. From day one she has been involved in research at Union, collaborating with professors, assisting student projects, and conducting her own research with a goal of pursuing a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and becoming a life---long researcher in the vast field of regenerative medicine. &nbsp;
