Jared Steele is a student at Texas Tech University where he is studying Business Management with a concentration [[File:JaredSteele.JPG|thumb|JaredSteele.JPG]]in entrepreneurship. He is involved in a wide array of organizations, activities, and leadership positions in hopes to expand his skill set and knowledge base. Examples of these include 3 Day Startup, Regional Outreach Coordinator for Texas Tech Innovation Mentorship & Entrepreneurship, member of 2016 Kinetic Accelerator Cohort, and Pledge Class President of Sigma Nu fraternity. Before transferring to Texas Tech, Jared was Chapter President of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, Chair of Fundraising for Enactus, and helped extensively with the Green Club.
Jared has been involved with I&E since a young age. He founded and ran the Business & Investing club in highschool, which has grown exponentially since it's creation. Other entreprenuerial ventures he has undertaken include co-founding two snow cone stands, a residential property addressing business, and a mobile iPhone screen repair business. Although these experiences proved to be a great education, Jared has decided to move towards a career in technology commericalization. 
When not working or studying, Jared's time is typically spent reading, gardening (hydroponically), or socializing. Projects he would like to pursue within his life is addressing the problem of ocean overfishing, marine conservation, and non-traditional education.
