David is an entrepreneur at heart and values innovation, initiative, and ambition. David loves coming up with new ways to do things, and helping organizations develop.&nbsp;</span></span></span>

<span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0px;">David's interest in entrepreneurship started in high school when he co-founded a web-design startup. This early experience with starting a business was an invaluable learning experience.&nbsp;</span></span></span>

<span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0px;">In 2013 David co-founded a startup called&nbsp;[http://divinarehealth.com/ <span style="font-size: 12px; font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0px; color: rgb(4, 46, 238);">Divnare Health</span>]&nbsp;with a group of students at Michigan Technological University. Divinare focuses on driving healthy behavioral changes using data collected from a user's smartphone, wearable devices, and social media networks.</span></span></span>

<span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0px;">David is passionate about growing as a leader. In 2010 David was accepted into the&nbsp;[http://pavlisinstitute.mtu.edu/ <span style="letter-spacing: 0px; color: rgb(4, 46, 238);">Pavlis Institute for Global Technological Leadership.</span>]&nbsp;The Pavlis Institute is a 25 credit leadership institute that focuses on empowering students with the necessary tools to be successful in a globalized society. The program culminates into a 5 week international experience where students travel to India, Ghana, or Malta unsupervised by Michigan Tech faculty / staff to implement and lead projects.</span></span></span>

Through the UIF program David is working on the following initiatives:&nbsp;</span></span></span>
