Knowing about all of the faculty members and their work outside of the classroom will give more students the opportunity know about the success that is surrounding them. This will give humanities students the opportunity to know what is happening in the sciences. By placing this information in public spaces a sense of community will be built around knowing the possibilities of success right here at Jewell.

William Jewell College Students and Faculty have had difficulty starting large-scale projects with longevity and a diverse set Kansas City currently has some of smaller interdisciplinary avenues/projects due to the lack of student and faculty body supportfastest internet in the United States. Students face barriers of hard-Thanks toGoogle Fiber and excellent city planning the high-inspire colleagues and professors that have begun accepting tech industry in the status quoKC areas has been rapidly expanding in recent years. Students, Faculty, Recent developments on the William Jewell campus and staff have succumbed to excessive risk aversion. Facilitating the creation points of large scale projects that utilize pride for the resources college are also focused on tech utility. In fall of 2013 the local community college opened its Pryor Learning Commons, a bookless library and the forged relationships between collaborative space for its students and faculty will invigorate . In 2014 it unveiled its Jewellverse initiative which vastly improved the innovative college's wifi capabilities and equipped every student and entrepreneurial spirit faculty member with an iPad. The college's 24/7 innovation suites contain a free-to-use 3D-printer and results digital media editing suites. The recent trend in the campus environment has been to be as tech savy as possible, yet with all of this technology being used on campus the only degree program in technology is the Collegeschool's recently added interactive digital media degree.
More specifically Interviews with faculty, alumni, and students have shown that interest is high in the curriculum at Jewell is lacking interdisciplinary projects communiy for an increase in all majorsavailability of computer science courses. Jewell should launch broad projectsSimilarly, businesses such as Cerner are hard pressed to find locally-grown computer scientists. It is with smaller projects intertwined this information that students can complete over their four year college career. These said projects would give students experience that would have the 2015 Fall cohort is proposing a quantifiable solution to use route to market themselves as they enter increase the job world in the future. This solution would not only benefit the student but also the beneficiaries presence of the project. For example if a broad project taken computer science courses on by the college was William Jewell campus while simultaneously connecting William Jewell students to reduce poverty in Kansas City, then the small project would have to show a reduction in poverty on some quantitative level. A small project could be a psychology demographic research project of residents best universities in Kansas City living in poverty. Finally, the college and faculty would benefit from a curriculum change such as this. Even as it would be more work, for faculty it would allow the college to be able to have marketing solutions and have a more concrete way of showing successful community outreachworld.

Upon the completion of phases 1 and 2 and the culture of computer science has increased on Jewell's campus a degree program in computer science will be created. By offering a degree in computer science the college will enhance its position on the midwest and national stage and produce talented graduates with skill sets that fill the computer science needs of companies in the Kansas City area and beyond.
