Changes

During her work experience, Valerie managed the installation of the prototype for a daylighting and solar thermal system targeted for optimal use on commercial roofs including those for retail and grocery stores, schools, manufacturing, food processing and government facilities.

== Graduate Studies ==

Valerie is currently a candidate for a Masters degree in Architecture at the University of Maryland. She is a member of the curriculum committee for the School of Architecture and is interested in cross fertilization between disciplines. She believes in the importance of design thinking and teamwork in entrepreneurship and innovation and is looking forward to knowledge sharing between peers in seemingly disparate disciplines for the purpose of innovation!
