Alan Xia is a student at Kettering University majoring in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He is incredibly passionate about trying to find and solve challenges that he comes across. He loves automobiles, technology, and whatever interests that pop up! Alan is the current president of ASME at Kettering University, and involved in multiple projects on campus. In addition, Alan has been a co-op at two automakers and one tire company, resulting in global work experiences and industry perspectives.

<span style="line-height: 19.6000003814697px;">But more than that, I’m excited that we come from all different backgrounds, holding different perspectives and experiences. We can’t all have the exact same set of challenges. We have the opportunity to bring together the learnings from initiatives and ideas of each school to help one another. I feel that this is an opportunity to pull all of these qualities together and that we have the ability to truly make an impact!</span>
