Taylor currently works in a genomics lab studying gene function in cotton, particularly the genes that code for fiber development. As a result of her extensive lab experience both from work and class, she noticed areas of improvement in the lab space. <span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">One of her goals in developing an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship is to conduct lab surveys. </span>She hopes to improve hands-on experience and providing sufficient, up-to-date equipment in the lab setting.
