Currently Florida Tech has a lot of collaboration with Harris Corporationis working on forming more regional and local economic development efforts, but the main one currently in place is the Women's Business Center(http://harriswbc.comfit.edu/). The main collaboration between Harris and vision of the University Women's Business Center at Florida Institute of Technology is the Harris Institute for Assured Informationto help women and men become entrepreneurial leaders and thinkers and to successfully achieve economic independence through entrepreneurship. The Harris Women’s Business Center at Florida Institute for Assured Information of Technology is an interdisciplinary center a community organization that focuses on high-risk disruptive work aimed at helping us trust the information that we so often rely on.
