==Bio==
Hello everyone! My name is Adrian Manchado, and I am a Computer Science major at the Milwaukee School Of Engineering (MSOE). I am super excited to be an University Innovation Fellow and share my journey.
I grew up in the suburbs of Madrid, Spain, in a small town, Cubas de la Sagra. I had an incredible childhood in a humble family, where I I was able to play competitive soccer while keeping a high academic rigor. Since I was young I had a passion for problem solving and critical thinking, attending several regional Mathematics Competitions. As I was growing up I developed several businesses and had a variety of jobs, to help my family financially. For example, during COVID I created a "manufacture" of plastic masks that were exported all over my region, as well I was a sales manager for flamenco shows and a set up a Network of Christmas Treats, where we brought sweets for over 200 families.
When I was 18 I had the opportunity of coming to the United States to attend college with a Soccer and Academic Scholarship. Since I was young, I was amazed by the American Dream and how much innovation and hard work happens in this country. I first attended a small college, Cardinal Stritch University that shut down at the end of my first year. I had to adapt quickly and find a new place in a matter of 3 months. After contacting with more than 200 universities, I decided to continue my dream at MSOE.
My journey at MSOE has been incredible. This is my senior year taught me invaluable lessons in '''discipline, time management, and performing under pressure'''. Balancing a full class schedule with practices, training, and bi-weekly games has made me a disciplined problem-solver, a skill that I apply to both the field and my technical work.
