Jasmine Mok is a passionate and versatile student majoring in Contemporary English Studies at Lingnan University with a minor in Translation. As a local student from Hong Kong, she is known among her peers and professors for her curiosity, creativity, and dedication to fostering cross-cultural communication. Fluent in four languages—Cantonese, English, Mandarin, and Korean—Jasmine has a deep love for communicating with people from different backgrounds. Her passion for languages extends beyond her current abilities, as she is always eager to learn more, including Japanese and Spanish. Whether helping international students adjust to life in Hong Kong or participating in cultural exchange activities, Jasmine uses her multilingual skills to build meaningful connections and break down language barriers. In addition to her academic and linguistic pursuits, Jasmine has been involved in dance for over four years, practicing K-pop covers, jazz funk, and contemporary styles. She also has over three years of experience translating Korean subtitles into Cantonese, combining her love for languages with her passion for K-pop.
Jasmine is also an avid backpacker, solo travelling across countries such as Taiwan, Japan, Korea, the Bahamas, the United States, the UK, Nepal, and Thailand.
