Thankfully, here at Elizabeth City State Universityprides itself on "Once a Viking, always a Viking". You see alumni come back for football games, but most importantly Homecoming. In those few times we as students have are graced by the chance to receive great opportunities wise alumni, we never connect. When you see "ECSU" and offers. The university offers various scholarships, grants, internships, career opportunities"alumni", and much morethan likely you come across the ECSU Alumni Association. However, for the current students have expressed that , it's important to make those connections with the workload can drastically affect alumni. VikingTALK will be a TEDTalk based series where ECSU alumni come back to share their journey after graduating. The series will go through their mental health over major and timeat ECSU and how that lead them into their career now. By Implementing this project would help VikingTALK it will bridge that gap between ECSU students on campus learn to balance life and college while adopting an innovative mindsetECSU alumni. Innovation essentially Viking Pride in a simple defintion means introducing something new or undergoing having joy of being a new changestudent at Elizabeth City State University. Students on campus experience change dailyHowever, that can't happen if Viking Pride stops for our alumni after they graduate and assuming an innovative perspective is not instill in those at ECSU. With VikingTALK web series there will be a website that can help them learn be accessed through the current student portal. On this website will be access to adapt various resources to their unique personal and college situations connect all VIkings. There will be a list of profiles of alumni sharing the career success stories. These will be blocked off by categorized by majors and changesinterests. HenceThere will be a portal or center for scholarships, each monthly session would feature new concepts, tipsinternships, jobs to be shared by alumni and different speakers, which educate students on how to embrace an innovative mindset and implement it into every aspect of their lives to break the monotony . This allows for efficient and reduce the risk of burnoutgenuine networking.<br />

Implementing Social Inno, a social innovation club where social issues are addressed through creative and sustainable solutions through collaborative efforts from present students & alumni with the idea inclusion of the Communication APP REMIND will significantly impact student-professor relationships here on campus. Remind is a private messaging platform that one can use essentially on any device. It is free to use hosting workshops and possesses a clean, simple interface that we can work partnerships with IT to installalumni. With Viking Engage Workshops would involve design thinking and organizing social projects for the campus's GroupMe being taken away, there is no longer an efficient communication tool community in Elizabeth City. A timeframe for students and professors to use to communicate with one anotherthis would be Late January or early February of 2024. Using REMIND can fill that void as it aims to help teachers and students communicate simultaneously. <br />===Summary:===At Elizabeth City State University, when you think Wednesday, you think Fried Chicken Wednesday. Although this tradition, has implemented a culture, it's important to educated on wellness. When speaking of Wellness, it's more than just healthy eating. With Wellness Wednesdays, it will be a series of events twice a month focusing on various health and wellness topics. Such as sexual health. mental health, fitness, nutrition, etc.
