==Bio==
Dominique has 15 years of nonprofit experience, focused on eliminating inequities in education, spanning roles including teacher, consultant, director, and lobbyist.

She stays connected to her community sitting on the boards of one school and two nonprofits, and volunteering at organizations and campaigns she believes in and supports.

Dominique earned her M.Ed in Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education, her M.Ed in Educational Leadership as a fellow in the Broad Residency in Urban Education, and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently pursuing her Ed.D at Tennessee State University. Though she is grateful for formal schooling, she honors the wisdom of her elders, community members and everyday neighbors who poured into her.

When she's not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with friends, cuddling with dogs, traveling internationally and domestically, cooking for and eating with others, going on hikes, swimming in the ocean and deepening her relationship with herself through modalities like breath work. Dominique believes all people should be treated with respect, dignity and love and actively fights for the liberation of those least remembered.

Dominique does her best to find magic in the mundane and loves the adventure of life!
