#Bringing mentors and students together for making projects aiming improving the inside and outside campus facilities as a sub-group of the Changemakers Community. A simple example would be repairing an out-of-order automat at the cafeteria and change it into a bookself.
#Contributing to social responsibility projects such as Robotel Turkey, by (for example) printing 3D hand and leg prosthetics for free
#Organizing challanges to let community members enjoy building and teamwork in a challenging atmosphere. <br /> === Project #4: Open Innovation Call: Collaborating with the Administration ==='''''Person in Charge:''''' Başak Bozkır '''Project Details''' In ITU, every student has some serious common problems they are facing on-campus, like not having sufficient workplaces, increase of pollution, or problems based on overpopulation. Instead of waiting someone from the institution to hear their voices and take action, according to surveys and feedbacks, we realized that some students are willing to bring a solution on their own to the problems they are facing, but what is the exact roadmap to implement those solutions, and is there any resources for the ones that want to be a part of the change? # Students will express their problems they are facing thematically via our surveys on existing ITU platforms and social media accounts, periodically.# After the due date, the top problem (or problems) of that semester will be reported to the administration, and the administration will announce an open innovation call to the decided problem.# Students who think they can have an impact with their idea, will apply to our open innovation call application.# The ideas will be presented to our jury from the administration, and the selected projects to that time's problem will be implemented with collaborating with the administration. This project aims to maintain its sustainability, and keep developing itself thanks to the project team.
