==Bio==
Born and raised in Shanghai, Junzhe Yan is an aspiring industrial designer and a UIF candidate from Design Bloc at Georgia Tech. His story with design started several years ago when Frank, Junzhe's art teacher in high school, brought two shabby wooden chairs into the studio. Frank told the kid to recreate the chairs. A month of sanding and chiseling later, the kid stood before his work and thought this might be something worth doing. Next, he read Now I Sit Me Down by Witold Rybczynski and cranked out a ten-pager on how chair designs always reflected their contemporary.

Junzhe finds fun designing when he fuses physical interaction with cultural observation. When he is not in the studio, find him on the basketball court or in that little cafe by Tech Tower with his grilled cheese.
