Menlo College is Silicon Valley's small private school with 900 students. Located in==Entrepreneurship &nbsp; Atherton, California, Menlo College offers degrees in business, as well as psychology. Being in the heart of Silicon Valley, Menlo College provides its students a unique approach to business: small class sizes with access to companies such as Facebook and Google, a short drive away from our campus. Menlo College provides 99% of students with financial aid and/or scholarships. However, Menlo College is such a small college, we lack many resources needed for a strong entreprenuarship and innovation program. Having the influence of such great entrepreneurial corporations around us is not enough to implement our own ideas as students without the necessary materials, mentors and an area to foster creativity. Therefore, the UIF Leadership Circle of Menlo College looks forward to identifying the gaps in our ecosystem, which need to strengthen in order for Menlo College students to fully embrace entrepreneurship and innovation.Innovation on Campus==

==Student In terms of academics, Menlo College offers its students the opportunity to major and minor in Entrepreneurship==& Innovation. The Entrepreneurship program focuses on building student's understanding of design thinking, ability to produce effective business plans and sharpens their public speaking and oral communication skills.

Menlo College students are passionate about entrepreneurship To facilitate hands-on exploration and innovation; exceptin the field of entrepreneurship, there are only minimal assets for them to utilize on campus. Entrepreneurship is offered as a major for those pursuing a business degree and is a growing major at Menlo College. The large presence offers students access to the state-of clubs on campus gives students -the extracurricular opportunities -art Innovation Center. This specialized facility is designed to explore their areas of interest, such serve as the Pioneer Club, an organization strictly designed ideal place for entrepreneurs and creative thinkers alikedesign thinking projects. These workshops cover a spectrum of topics, ranging from crafting persuasive cover letters and resumes to mastering the support art of faculty, have organized three successful Startup weekendscreating a compelling LinkedIn profile. In November 2020, These events underscore Menlo hosted, virtually, Startup Weekend Silicon Valley Womxn. More than 100 people attendedCollege's dedication to nurturing a culture of entrepreneurship and career readiness among its student body.

Being In a significant stride towards promoting entrepreneurship and social innovation, Menlo College made its debut in the Hult Prize competition in the recent academic year. This global startup accelerator, focused on social entrepreneurship, marked an exciting milestone for the institution. Following the success of its participation, Menlo College is actively exploring opportunities to expand its on-campus entrepreneurial challenges, fostering a culture of innovation and impact. Furthermore, Menlo College takes pride in its unique Living Learning Dorm for Creativity and Innovation, which provides students with a vibrant and collaborative living environment that nurtures entrepreneurial thinking and creativity.  The entrepreneurial spirit at Menlo College is further exemplified by active student clubs like OIC (Oak's Innovation Club) and E&I (Entrepreneurship & Innovation), which serve as platforms for students to network, collaborate, and further their entrepreneurial pursuits. Menlo College has finds itself in a very low unique position, with limited regional and local ecomonic economic development. Possibly due to , potentially stemming from the fact that our campus and its students do not have access to absence of a specific entrepreneruship deparment dedicated entrepreneurship department or designated leaderon our campus. There is This void has led to a lack of awareness surrounding entrepreneruship regarding entrepreneurship and innovation on campus.
