My name is [https://www.linkedin.com/in/mdominikphd/ Mike Dominik], and I'm a Senior Lecturer faculty member at [https://www.rowan.edu/ Rowan University] in Glassboro, NJ, USA. My academic background includes BS Electrical Engineering (Rutgers), MS Engineering Management of Technology (UPenn), MBA (Rowan), and PhD in Organizational Leadership (Eastern Univ). My professional experience includes 15 years with General Electric and Lockheed Martin, 15 more years as a two-time technology entrepreneur (my startup [https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20130910005181/en/PTC-Expands-Technology-Deployment-Options-with-Acquisition-of-Hosting-Provider-NetIDEAS NetIDEAS was acquired by Parametric Technology Corporation]), and the past 5 years as a teacher at Rowan.
Rowan University has doubled in size in the past decade, from around 10.000 students in 2010 to nearly 20,000 now. With that growth comes challenges - and therefore more OPPORTUNITY to be innovative and entrepreneurial! Our first Leadership Circle of Fellows was formed in 2017, and two more leadership circles followed in 2018 and 2019. COVID in 2020 caused us to put a hold on a leadership circle, but we are back in 2021 with another four students!
Here are the Rowan University Leadership Circles and what they have notably accomplished as University Innovation Fellows.
