He got his master's degree from TU as well in Mechanical Engineering.  He is a researcher at Erosion/Corrosion Research Center. His area of research is fluid mechanics, erosion modelling and erosion control. Furthermore, he teaches various courses at TU as a TA (teaching assistant)The University of Tulsa. These include Thermodynamics, Machine Design, and Finite Element Analysis.  Haider is passionate about helping others and making a difference. He loves learning, exploring and teaching. He believes that teaching is one of the best ways to give back to the community, as you get to directly impact lives.  Using the skills and knowledge that he learned through University Innovation Fellows Training, he is trying to introduce latest teaching methodologies and change the culture of teaching on his campus. He is implementing design thinking methodology to better understand the pain points and needs of both instructors and student. He has implemented flipped class room methodology in his Finite Element Analysis class for Spring 2021. He is aiming to further refine his methods based on the insights gained from spring 2021 sprint 1. Ultimately, he wants to show case this teaching methods to whole campus community and inspire change. Outside of work, he is a fitness freak and a crazy dog lover!. He loves travelling and cooking.
