|title=Let's Play a Game
|content=<br>
Welcome to Week 1 of training! We’ve created a game that will help you learn new skills and tools to use during training and beyond. Each game “square” links to a challenge (plus a few surprises along the way). Double click on each square to reveal the challenge. Each challenge builds upon the last, so please try them all! <br><br>

Every Leadership Circle team member should play the game individually, but there are a few parts where you’ll want to connect with your teammates. <br><br>

When you access the game, if you don’t have an account on Mural yet, you may be prompted to create one or to “enter as a visitor,” as shown on the screen shot here below the game board. <u>'''Either option is fine and you can complete all the Mural challenges as a visitor if needed'''</u>. Later in the training, you should be able to access your team’s Training Workspace mural with your newly created account. <br><br>

We were so excited to see all of you dive into this new game we created! We hope it helped you to learn a little bit about the platforms and tools we’ll use during training.

If you haven’t checked out the [https://app.mural.co/t/qfwfq7288/m/qfwfq7288/1598639658768/5add5f12029a72f8271709ac56fc85f0725449eb?wid=0-1598811885646 Training Mess-It Mural] recently, it’s awesome! It had several of the UIF team members cracking up during our last meeting. Lots of love and funny photos :) Hello Piper!

On the Communal Mural, it was so wonderful to see all of your faces! Here’s a quick look at some of the goodies there:

One of the Virtual Campus challenges was to share the ways your school is creating virtual communities for students. Here are a few highlights from what you posted on the forum:
<br>
* Marcela from UTEC said that every major has a spokesperson who is responsible for improving the students’ internal communication and experience. She is the spokeswoman of the civil engineering major this year, which gives me the opportunity to create “meets & greets, integration events and feedback forums on courses (everything in a virtual way)”.
* Grace from Virginia Tech said that her school hosts an annual event called Gobblerfest to engage students in activities and organizations. “Because of the global pandemic, the event has been moved online, allowing for all students, even those learning remotely, to be able to join clubs and make connections with other Hokies.”
* Others noted opportunities for improvement. Misshel from Sophia University noted that students can now participate in online lunch chats through Zoom every week. “However, as it is rather a blank open room, students feel a little uncomfortable to join in, especially those in their first years in Sophia not having much friends.”<br><br>

Great job roughing out the plan for the Stakeholder meeting! Of course, new contacts and agenda items will emerge as you go through training, but planning ahead will ensure successful attendance with your most important campus stakeholders. Most of you selected dates between October 5th and 10th. Some of you submitted early September dates … you’ll need to go in and adjust that in the assignment submission page. Remember, the point of the stakeholder meeting is to get all the VIPs in a room toward the end of training so you may share your plans based on what you learn over the next several weeks.<br><br>
Finally, here are the 10 winners of the UIF Monopoly quiz who were randomly selected from the huge list who got all the answers correct. Congratulations! If you're on a Zoom call with any of the winners, check out their virtual background to see their digital prize.
