<span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Brooke is a San Diego native who started at Utah Valley University two years ago, and is now a Senior.&nbsp;</span> <span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">She is a Behavio</span><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">ral Sciences major who[[File:Brooke uif.jpg|thumb]] completed the </span><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">Substance Use Disorder Counseling program&nbsp;</span><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">at UVU, has six years of professional experience working with recovering addicts and alcoholics, and recently interned for Utah County’s Drug Court. She is the&nbsp;</span><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">recipient of several competitive research grants, with projects focused on improving the justice system’s understanding of addiction. She hopes to use her UIF training to launch the Wolverine Fund at UVU this Fall.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">She aspires to pursue a dual PhD/JD after she graduates in the Spring of 2018, and dreams of one day retiring in the mountains and opening a dog rescue facility.&nbsp;</span>
