==Bio==
Thalía is , a Bioengineering Junior at Graduate from UTEC and was born and raised in a town in Piura(2023), Peru. At the age of 13, she was selected as one of the top students is currently pursuing her MSc studies in her region to study 3 years Biomedical Engineering at COAR Piura, a highly selective boarding school École Polytechnique - Institut Polytechnique de Paris in her countryFrance. During her the last year at schoolfour years, she was awarded a scholarship has used biologically-inspired engineering to study at UTEC, in Lima. All the opportunities she was granted so far have led her to share her knowledge with those less fortunate. For that reason, she works to empower women and girls from her birthplacecreate synthetic organ models across Peru, democratize life sciencesFrance, and improve education in her countryCanada.
Moreover, All the opportunities she is a volunteer for social programs that follow the same objective as her, such as Q’omer Kallpa, Asiry, Girl Up was granted so far to become an engineer working and recently she has founded Colaneñas. At studying in prestigious institutions have led her university, Thalía is part of two research projects related to two topics she loves: Synthetic biology and Tissue engineering. With these projects, share her team seeks knowledge to improve shape the health career of people with burn injuries future female scientists. For that reason, she works to empower women and those who suffer girls from osteo-degenerative diseasesher birthplace, democratize life sciences, respectivelyand contribute to biomedical research in her country.
On the other handMoreover, she is the vicepresident of BioUTEC, a biohacker space whose purpose is to democratize biotechnology inside and outside UTEC. She has also provided academic support to undergraduate UTEC students at academic risk in Chemistry through the PARA Program, been a program designed by volunteer for social programs that follow the Welfare Department at same objective as her and runs her universityown non-profit organization.  Thalía considers herself as a caring, creative, and responsible person. Besides engineering, she enjoys painting with watercolors, riding her bikesleeping, and eating soups. Likewise, she has an immense passion for promoting bioeconomy as a development model in her country She also loves doing yoga and Latin America, as well as creating new strategies to reach more people interested in Biotechnology through BioUTEC. These are some of the reasons why she has been recently chosen as one of the 100 most outstanding young leaders in Biotechnology in Latin America to attend the Allbiotech 2021 summit in Argentina.  In the long term, she would like to improve her Yoga skills to manage her stress during difficult times like the ones we are currently experiencing. knitting!
