=== Milestone 1: Improving the virtual space
===
abcd abcd abcdOur first milestone focuses on improving the virtual space, this is a priority due to the pandemic. This milestone includes populating the existing iHub Facebook Group as well as developing a formal website for the iHub space. This will allow students to find out what is on in the space, who to contact, how to book the space and virtual showcases of projects.
=== Milestone 2: Improving the physical space
===
abcd abcd abcdOur second milestone focuses on improving the physical space. We want to use the large windows at the entrance of the room to attract students into the space by making it more inviting. We also want to introduce physical showcases for projects from a range of students, such as FEIT, FEIT/BCII, iHub, UTS Startups and Techcelerator.
=== Milestone 3: Collaboration with UTS I&E programsRapid Prototyping Cart
===
abcd abcd abcdWe also want to introduce Rapid Prototyping Carts at UTS. This idea was presented to us during training by UIF Tanner Wheadon. The carts are also used at Stanford University and Google Warehouse. The carts are mobile and are filled with cardboard, paperclips, tape, popsicle sticks and so much more that can be used to rapidly prototype and make an idea tangible. We believe these would be a great investment as they can be used in multiple scenarios around university, from the iHub space, to the classroom, societies and hackathons.
== ...Milestone 4: Collaboration with UTS I&E programs
===
The next milestone is to bridge the gap between FEIT and I&E programs such as UTS Startups and Techcelerator.We aim to present opportunities to students where they can nurture their ideas into a feasible reality.From student feedback we learnt that currently these programs are viewed as entirely seperate to FEIT, and are seen as exclusive. By introducing a Reverse Pitch Night, where I&E programs pitch to students why they should join them, we aim to remove the threat of exclusivity and engage more students.
