As part of this, a distinct office for '''INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES''' has been established on 2nd November-2015 in the MITS campus, which  creates a platform for students to express their ideas. Here the ideas will be groomed with the help of the faculty. In 2015, incubation center has also been established to provide some space to flourish the ideas. The innovative ideas of the students helps them to become successful entrepreneurs. Keeping this in vision Entrepreneurship Development Cell was established in the year 2010 which creates and foster entrepreneurial culture among students by identifying, training and motivating students to become entrepreneurs. ED cell and Innovation cell conducts various workshops and awareness programs. One among those activities is '''DIYA(Dynamics Ideas by Young Aspirants)''' which encourages the start-up ideas of students and also the excelled ideas are funded by reputed funding agencies. Apart from these, eminent personnel from industry(entrepreneurs), financial institutions(Banks), and academics will be invited to interact and to empower the knowledge in the concern fields that enrich the students how to start an entrepreneur at their own cost and procedures to be followed further. In addition to this, MITS conducts many competitions help students to showcase their innovative ideas.'''Innovation club''' is initiated by the '''University Innovation Fellows''' of MITS to help the students to come up with innovative ideas that would help the society and make the world a better place. It is a platform for students where their ideas will '''ignite''', '''innovate''' and '''incubate''' into products. The club hosts many events (such as project expo ), by which students find their interest and participate in them with enthusiasm, eventually helping the students to bring out the best in them and give the best product as output.MITS is having a swift development in the participation of the students for whom particular organizations like '''DST-PRISM''' (Promoting Innovations in Individuals Startups and MSME), '''TBI''' (Technology Business Incubators) are providing funds to innovate and incubate ideas into products.

La Foundation Dassault Systemes (Dassault Systemes Foundation, India) aims to develop a more sustainable society by driving innovations and improvisations in Higher education, which Provides wide research facilities and gives equal access to Students.It empowers researchers to stretch the limits of their knowledge by enabling them to work on lifelike digital models of the real world.The Desalination project of our institute which aims to serve our society in impeccable ways was highly supported by La Foundation Dassault Systemes.Dassault systemes support various institutes like ours that are located in different parts of our country by encouraging young researchers to explore and materialize innovative research ideas, providing a workspace where professors can collaborate with students to do research for social and sustainable innovation by developing new learning approaches to solve the world’s challenges.</big><big>We have '''Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE)''' cell in our institute that has a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers & telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics among others.
