I think that this Agricultural Innovation Prize is super interesting and could be very applicable to my school, Elon University. Alamance County is a food desert, with very minimal places for people find access to cheap, healthy meals. When I worked with the Village Project here at Elon to tutor kids, a big focus was to teach them how to budget their money to buy healthy food options. With the agricultural land Elon has, I think this innovation prize could really help Elon expand upon helping the community around us.

Last year Bayer started a program like a prize. It shows that something is going to be changed. Even the private sector do something to create solutions, governments must take actions to enhance the system.
