==Bio==
Katherine King is a University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate student at the Colorado School of Mines. From Dallas, TX, Katherine moved to Golden, CO to study environmental engineering.
She is currently Lead Mentor of the Grand Challenges Grand Council, a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority, and a Harvey and Vanguard Scholar. She participates in club ultimate frisbee. In the summer of 2020, Katherine was the assistant volunteer coordinator for the GEMS (Girls Interested in Engineering, Math, and Science) Camp, a STEM camp for middle school girls. Katherine also likes to go outside, run bike, hike, listen to podcasts, read, bake, cook, travel, and hammock. She loves trying new things in general, especially with friends and family.
