==Bio==
Edwina Sofia Uy Paredes is an incoming Junior Actuarial Science student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and is planning to minor in Finance or Business Administration. She is from the Philippines and is fond of exploring new cultures and ideas that surround her. As an aspiring actuary, she wants to be a change agent that helps other people reach their full potential. She aspires to be the best part super-hero, part fortuneteller and part trusted advisor that she can be.

Sofia is an active student on her campus and community. She always seeks to do things compassionately and selflessly for the common good of everyone. She is currently the President of Circle K International MSOE Chapter and the Director of Communications for the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL). She is involved in other several organizations on campus including Math and Actuarial Science Club (MAASC), Student Union Board (SUB), International Students Association (ISA), and Lambda Zeta Nu (LZN). Aside from holding executive positions, she is also a Resident Assistant for MSOE’s Residence Life and a Campus Ambassador for MSOE’s Admission Office.

During her spare time, Sofia enjoys cooking, traveling, meeting new people, collecting stationery, playing soccer, and volunteering. She is an active youth volunteer for the Tzu Chi Foundation.
