About the Meetup

The Silicon Valley Meetup brings together newly-trained Fellows and a small group of UIF faculty mentors for several days of immersive learning activities. This event takes place at Stanford University’s d.school, with visits to Google, Microsoft and other Silicon Valley locations. During the event, Fellows participate in experiential workshops and exercises focused on topics that include creating and running student innovation spaces, leading through movement, designing learning experiences, and exploring new models of change in higher education. Attendees engage with leaders in academia and industry, and they collaborate and share knowledge with their peers. This event is held twice each year after each training cycle.
