Promoting Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship:

  • Entrepreneurship Major/Minor: The Entrepreneurship major and minor are key pathways for students to explore innovation. These programs offer classes like Entrepreneurship and Leadership and Starting and Managing a Business, equipping students with both theoretical and practical knowledge needed to succeed in entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Baylor Research and Innovation Center: This center plays a crucial role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship through internships and scholarships. It provides students with hands-on experience in research and innovation, helping bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.

Fellows are nominated by academic deans, former fellows, and the Academy for Teaching and Learning Advisory Council.

  • Baylor/Waco Foundation: The foundation provides grants to local non-profits working in areas such as economic development, health, education, cultural wealth, and city growth.
