I loved this "HOW TO" guide, and this was the first topic that caught my eye while reading the topics on the list. Kinshuk has shared something that I realized 4 months ago when my team presented to the Head of the Bioengineering department our proposal to be part of an international competition. We had already been working on this project for 6 months before presenting it to him. All that time we had been working alone, without contacting other experts in the area of my university, and worst of all, we had not told our career director that we wanted to participate in the 2020 call for that contest. We told him when there were only 5 days left to close the registration for the contest. Obviously he denied us the financing, since, although the idea was good, it still lacked sustenance and there was not enough time there was no time to process the financing. He gave us suggestions to participate next year and we got to know him more through weekly meetings. Thanks to that experience, we learned to contact other influential people, researchers from my university, and from a Chilean and French universities. From that day on, we have contacted more people who have supported us in the investigation. However, we still need to achieve more of the great things that Kinshuk achieved and of all the great things that he has put in the recommendations.
