Using the framework of the What I.F. Club at UGA, this resource clearly and effectively outlines step by step considerations for the establishment of a club or class that is entirely student-driven. Going into this resource, I had a rough idea of where to start, but had never considered several of the main points.


I think it very interesting to learn about setting up your own course. It is important that young people teach what they are passionate about. Afterall, I would rather learn a topic from someone who learned it themselves in recent years, than by someone who hasn't updated his knowledge since they graduated. I agree that more years in the field means that they have more experience and they may be able to give an indepth view of the issue. But for starting of, for learning the basics, I think it's better to learn from someone who knows the struggle of getting to the point where they are personally.
